Description
Safeguarding the beauty of the landscape surrounded by the light house, ancient harbor for generations standing out between rocks and the sky, here it is the aim of this project.
This setting is to be perceived gradually over the time, and the discovery will make you catch all details. The environment and the architecture are experienced from different angles satisfying viewers’ needs by respecting the preexisting surrounding.
“Going further”, non-conventional volumes hide themselves beyond the wall, without overpassing the construction limit. Shapes declare their existence and legitimacy of belonging to a new era. They lean on the geographical context thanks to the colors of the light gres which evokes the rocks nearby.
In order to fully experience the uncontaminated beauty of the countryside, wooden boardwalks help guests to go beyond the light house till the very end of the shoreline to enjoy the sea.
